A pixel-style treatment for generated images
Choose an image saved on your device, then use PIXCHA’s pixel size, palette, detail and cleanup controls to shape its appearance. Processing takes place locally in your browser; the image is not sent to PIXCHA’s database or storage by the editor.
The result is an adjustable pixel-style conversion. It is not automatically handcrafted professional pixel art, and fine features or small text in the source may not remain clear.
Explore variations for a game concept
Generated art can be a fast way to explore a direction. PIXCHA lets you try different color counts and pixel sizes, then save a PNG to compare in a game prototype or share as a visual reference.
- Test an AI-generated character concept
- Try an enemy, prop or environment variation
- Compare palette choices for a game jam
- Create a temporary visual for a prototype
A simple workflow
Save an image you are allowed to use, choose it in the PIXCHA editor, adjust the pixel-style result, and download the PNG. You can then test the image in your project and decide whether it works for your current concept.
Review the rights and terms that apply to your source image before using it in a project. PIXCHA does not determine ownership or usage rights for generated content.
