Pixel Art, Made Easy.
PIXCHA POLICIES
Terms of Service
Last updated: September 30, 2026
1. Introduction and acceptance
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) apply when you access or use PIXCHA, an online tool for turning photos and illustrations into pixel art. By using PIXCHA, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be able to form a binding agreement under the laws that apply to you. If you create or use an account, provide information you are allowed to use and keep your sign-in link and account access secure. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account.
Contact PIXCHA if you believe someone else has accessed your account. We may take reasonable steps to protect accounts and the service.
3. The PIXCHA service
PIXCHA provides image-to-pixel-art tools, palettes, editing controls, and image export. Features may be changed, added, limited, or discontinued as the service develops. Some processing and settings depend on your browser, device, and chosen options.
4. Free and paid features
PIXCHA may offer free features and paid PIXCHA Pro features. Feature availability and usage limits are shown in the service and may change prospectively. Paid access is subject to the offer and price presented to you at checkout.
5. PIXCHA Pro, billing, and subscriptions
PIXCHA Pro is a subscription where offered. Payments for PIXCHA Pro may be processed by Paddle, which acts as Merchant of Record for eligible transactions. Subscription access and entitlement status may be managed through RevenueCat. RevenueCat manages subscription entitlements; it is not described here as the payment processor.
The price, billing frequency, taxes, and renewal terms applicable to your purchase are shown at checkout. A subscription may renew automatically unless you cancel it before the next renewal, as explained in the purchase flow or by the billing provider. Manage or cancel a purchase using the controls or instructions provided with that purchase. Cancellation generally stops future renewals and does not by itself reverse a completed charge. Refund requests are handled under the Refund Policy and applicable purchase terms.
6. Your images and other content
You keep your rights to images and other content you provide. PIXCHA’s current image editor processes selected images locally in your browser and does not send the image itself to PIXCHA’s Supabase database or storage. Your browser or device may retain content or settings according to its own behavior and the choices you make.
You give PIXCHA a limited, non-exclusive permission to handle content only as needed to provide a feature you choose, including processing it on your device and creating an export at your request. This does not transfer ownership of your content to PIXCHA.
You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to use the content you select and to use any resulting export. Do not submit or use content in a way that violates another person’s rights or applicable law.
7. Acceptable use
When using PIXCHA, you must not:
- Break applicable law or infringe intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
- Attempt to disrupt, damage, probe, or gain unauthorized access to PIXCHA or its infrastructure.
- Interfere with usage limits, subscription checks, security controls, or other service protections.
- Use the service to distribute harmful code, abuse other people, or facilitate unlawful activity.
8. PIXCHA intellectual property
PIXCHA and its software, branding, and service materials are owned by PIXCHA or its licensors and are protected by applicable laws. These Terms give you permission to use the service for its intended purpose; they do not transfer ownership of PIXCHA or its materials to you.
9. Availability, changes, and termination
PIXCHA is provided as an evolving service. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or that every feature will remain available. We may update the service and these Terms. When a change is material, we will take reasonable steps to make the updated Terms available. The date above identifies the current version.
We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address misuse, security concerns, legal requirements, or material breaches of these Terms. You may stop using PIXCHA at any time. Ending access does not automatically cancel a separately managed subscription; cancel it through the applicable purchase controls.
10. Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, PIXCHA is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties that cannot be excluded by law. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited.
To the extent permitted by law, PIXCHA is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so is prohibited by law. Your mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
11. Governing terms and contact
These Terms do not specify a governing-law jurisdiction because PIXCHA’s applicable legal entity and jurisdiction have not been supplied here. Applicable mandatory consumer protections continue to apply.
For payment questions about a Paddle transaction, use the buyer-support route shown in your purchase receipt where available. For other questions about these Terms or PIXCHA, use the support contact provided with your account or purchase communications.
